Participants sign up for one session that will have a weekly class that lasts throughout the
quarter being provided (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall). Quarters will last 6-12 weeks. Each
session will include daily living, social skills, recreational activities, and a functional academic,
supporting each participant in growing their independence and well-being. Life and social skills
will include schedule management, dietary education and empowerment, healthy and safe
social skills and opportunities, etc. In addition, each participant will receive recreational
activities during each session. These will be provided indoors and on site and may include
dancing, yoga, games, and more. Finally, each session within the quarter will focus on a specific
functional academic. This will be defined by the session that each participant signs up for.
The current rate is $75.24 for a 3-hour session. Invoices are sent at the beginning of each month and must be paid by the 10th of each month. Respite hours must be approved by the DDCS (formerly DDA) case manager prior to the first session. Invoices are sent to the parent/guardian and the DDCS case manager.
